NSF RAPID Proposals for Ebola Research

Date:

Friday, October 17, 2014 (All day)

The NSF has issued a Dear Colleague Letter encouraging submissions of NSF RAPID proposals to conduct non-medical, non-clinical care research relating to the Ebola virus.  The RAPID funding mechanism is used for proposals having a severe urgency with regard to availability of, or access to data, facilities or specialized equipment and only internal merit review is required.  Requests may be for up to $200K and of one year duration.  PI(s) must contact the NSF program officer(s) whose expertise is most germane to the proposal topic before submitting a RAPID proposal.  The deadline for this opportunity is rolling.
