In this seminar, you will learn about US laws governing research involving vertebrate animals, what an animal use protocol is, and when you might need one. In addition, the seminar will cover other practical aspects of fieldwork such as controlled substances, necessary permits, and field euthanasia.

The seminar is open to students, researchers, lab coordinators, department administrators, and lab managers of researchers conducting fieldwork or international research involving animals. LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED
