FAS Science - Computational/Theory Re-Occupancy Pilot
Steps for the PI
- Review the pilot's guidelines for occupancy - general rule of thumb is one person per office per day for most offices.
- Complete the pilot re-occupancy plan for your group in accordance with guidelines above and submit to Science Dean's Office (sarah_elwell@harvard.edu) for review and approval.
- Identify a COVID Safety Officer for your group. Ensure this individual is aware they are serving in this role and understands their responsibilities (coordinate test kit and mask pick-up for the group, attend monthly COVID/Lab safety meetings, communicate/distribute re-occupancy information to group, etc.).
- Socialize and make the re-occupancy plan available to the group. Those that can continue to work remotely should be permitted to do so. Returning to campus should be voluntary.
- Establish a mask and test kit distribution plan for your returning group members. Is there a central location that all group members have access to where these supplies could be kept?
- Pick-up an initial supply of test kits and mask from the Northwest Bldg Ops Office (NW 102) after coordinating with Jesselynn Opie (jopie@fas.harvard.edu). Bi-weekly distribution dates are included in the weekly re-occupancy emails sent to PIs and COVID Safety Officers.
- Request a cleaning kit for each office that will be used by your group by submitting a PRESTO workorder. In the "Problem" field select "Other" and indicate the room numbers where your group will require a cleaning kit. These kits will be used to clean surfaces between office occupants.
Preparatory Steps for All Returning Researchers
