Jerry Mitrovica of EPS Receives the 2015 GSA Day Medal

Jerry X. Mitrovica, Professor of Geophysics in EPS, was awarded the 2015 Geological Society of America Day Medal.  The Day Medal was established in 1948 by Arthur L. Day to be awarded for outstanding distinction in contributing to geologic knowledge through the application of physics and chemistry in the solution of geologic problems. Read more here.
