Harvard Professor receives Monie A. Ferst Award

Mallinckrodt Professor of Engineering Sciences and Geophysics Jim Rice receives a Monie A. Ferst Award by Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society. This national award is sponsored by the Georgia Institute of Technology Chapter of Sigma Xi and recognizes those who have made "notable contributions to the motivation and encouragement of research through education."
