Emily Balskus wins 2013 Packard Fellowship

Emily Balskus, Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, was awarded a 2013 Packard Fellowship. The fellowship is awarded to 16 of the nation’s most innovative young scientists and engineers. Each Fellow receives a grant of $875,000 over five years to pursue their research. Professor Balskus' research focuses on discovering, understanding, and manipulating chemical reactions performed by microorganisms.
