The U.S.-Israel Binational Science Foundation (BSF) promotes scientific relations between the U.S. and Israel by supporting collaborative research projects in a wide area of basic and applied scientific fields. This small program of up to two awards annually will receive larger grants than in the regular BSF grants program. The aim is to encourage and support research programs that, if successful, may have a far reaching impact on their scientific fields and lead to unusually significant breakthroughs.
