Award Amount: Up to $100,000 for pilot grants, up to $300,000 for development grants
Eligible Faculty: Anyone employed by Harvard with rights as a principal investigator (PI)

The Blavatnik Biomedical Accelerator supports Harvard faculty in the performance and commercialization of applied life sciences research. It seeks to enable innovative, investigator-initiated research aimed at extending preliminary observations, with proof-of-concept and the generation of robust intellectual property positions as key objectives. The Accelerator's primary goal is to advance technologies to the point where additional funding from industry and/or technology transfer is achieved. Potential applicants should contact their current Director of Business Development and blavatnik_accelerator@harvard.edu at the earliest possible opportunity to indicate their interest in submitting a pre-proposal. The Office of Technology Development (OTD) staff will then arrange to work closely with applicants to develop a pre-proposal.
