Webcast Date: September 25, 2020 1:00-3:00PM

DARPA's Defense Sciences Office is sponsoring a webcast to provide information on the objectives of its 2021 Young Faculty Award (YFA) Program. The objective of the DARPA YFA is to identify and engage rising stars in junior research positions, emphasizing those without prior DARPA funding, and expose them to DoD needs and DARPA's program development process. While the solicitation for the 2021 DARPA Young Faculty Award has not yet been released, DARPA anticipates soliciting innovative research proposals in the areas of physical sciences, engineering, materials, mathematics, biology, computing, informatics, social science, robotics, neuroscience and manufacturing of interest to DARPA's Technology Offices. To be eligible for the DARPA YFA, applicants must be current tenure-track assistant/associate professors or tenured faculty within 3 years of their tenure date.

The Proposers Day will be held via prerecorded webcast on September 25, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 PM. Advance registration is required by September 18, 2020 at 4:00 PM or when capacity is reached, whichever comes first.
