ETHAN GARNER RECEIVES NIH NEW INNOVATOR AWARD

Ethan Garner, an assistant professor in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, is a recipient of the 2014 National Institute of Health (NIH) Director’s New Innovator Award. Established in 2007, the New Innovator Award Initiative supports exceptionally creative early career investigators pursing pioneering, potentially high-impact research ideas in biomedical and behavioral science. The NIH awards recipients up to $300,000 annually over five years and covers indirect research costs as well. Read more here.
