But the Internet now provides an additional medium for transmitting the "stories of science". I will discuss the founding, current projects, and future directions of iBiology.org, an NSF-NIH funded effort dedicated to filming talks by outstanding life scientists and making them freely available throughout the world. I also will discuss the opportunities and challenges of using the Internet for educating diverse audiences about scientific research.
