DESCRIPTION:<p>	<strong>Sloan Research FellowshipsFAS/SEAS/OSP Deadline: September 8, 2022Sponsor Deadline: September 15, 2022Award Amount: $75,000 for two yearsEligible Applicants: Candidates must be tenure-track, though untenured, as of September 15, 2022. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in chemistry, computer science, Earth system science, economics, mathematics, neuroscience, physics, or a related field.</strong></p><p>	The Sloan Research Fellowship Program is awarded annually to outstanding early-career faculty in recognition of distinguished performance and a unique potential to make substantial contributions to their field. Nominated candidates are normally several years past the completion of their Ph.D. in order to accumulate a competitive record of independent, significant research. Fellowship funds may be used by the fellow for any expense judged supportive of the fellow's research including staffing, travel, lab expenses, equipment, or summer salary support. Fellowship funds may not be used for indirect costs.</p><p>	In order to be considered for a Sloan Research Fellowship, a candidate must have a letter of nomination from a department head or other senior researcher officially nominating the candidate and describing his or her qualifications, initiative, and research. <strong>No more than three candidates may be nominated from any one department.</strong></p><p>	Recent recipients include Roger Fu (EPS, 2022), Erin Hecht (HEB, 2022), Julia Mundy (Physics, 2022), David Yang (Economics, 2022), Benjamin Enke (Economics, 2021), Carlos A.
