SUMMARY: Lee Smolin, "Einstein's Unfinished Revolution," Harvard Science Book Talk
DESCRIPTION:Renowned theoretical physicist Lee Smolin will discuss the work around his latest book Einstein's Unfinished Revolution, in which he argues that the current theory of quantum mechanics is fundamentally incomplete, and its bizarre, “anti-realist” picture of the universe is incorrect. Taking us one step closer to completing the revolution that Albert Einstein began nearly a century ago, Smolin discusses how we might now go beyond quantum mechanics to find the complete, realist description of nature that Einstein long sought.
