DESCRIPTION:<p>	<strong>Ravi Basavappa, Program Leader, NIH High-Risk, High-Reward Research Programs</strong><br><strong>REGISTER HERE</strong></p><p>	Dr. Basavappa will present an overview of the Early Independence, New Innovator, Pioneer, and Transformative Research Awards that are part of the NIH Common Fund High-Risk, High-Reward Research Program. These awards support exceptionally creative scientists pursuing unusually innovative and impactful research projects.</p><p>	Dr. Emily Balskus, Morris Kahn Associate Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, will join Dr. Basavappa to share her experience as a recipient of the NIH New Innovator Award.</p><p>	Faculty, postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, and administrators are all welcome to attend this event.
