#  Python Multiprocessing on the FASRC Clusters

 You will learn about some of the techniques to accelerate Python programming with emphasis on utilizing multiprocessing in combination with numpy arrays.

 **Prequisites:**

 You should be familiar with basic Python and should have attended the [Python on the FASRC clusters](https://www.rc.fas.harvard.edu/events/python-basics/) training.  
To prepare for the session, you will need to have logged in and run a job already.

   
Audience: FASRC Users  
Pre-Requisites: Basic Python, A FASRC account, A Zoom account  
Cost: None  
Late Drop/Cancel Fee: None

 This is a live virtual session and we will reserve some time at the end of the session for questions.
