Dr. Ravi Basavappa, Program Leader at the National Institutes of Health, will present an overview of the New Innovator, Pioneer, and Transformative Research Awards. These awards are part of the [NIH Common Fund High-Risk, High Reward Program](https://commonfund.nih.gov/highrisk/index), which supports exceptionally creative scientists pursuing unusually innovative and impactful research projects. Faculty recipients of Common Fund awards will join Dr. Basavappa to talk about the research these funds have enabled.

This event is open to all faculty, postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, and administrators affiliated with Harvard University. Light refreshments will be provided.
