The purpose of this meeting is to bring together divisional staff, administrators, and faculty to initiate a strategic planning discussion, and to explore how the Division of Science should evolve over the coming decade to meet our organizational goals. Dean Stubbs will provide an initial overview of the division and a look ahead to how research and education might evolve, followed by a series of discussions and topical breakout sessions. The ideal outcomes of this planning retreat are to lay the groundwork for developing a divisional strategic plan, and to strengthen the linkages between our stakeholders.
