Russ Porter, Administrative Dean of Science, leads and oversees all administrative aspects of the Division and provides guidance and support to all departments, centers, and units within the Division. He plays a critical role in academic planning, finance, sponsored research, facilities, personnel, and IT, and in the development of procedures and systems that enable inter-departmental, divisional, and school collaborations. He partners with department chairs and center directors to oversee and supervise staff and contributes to the development and implementation of policies, programs, and activities related to the University’s strategic initiatives.
